How to choose the theme for your cake smash| Charlotte baby photographer

Turning ONE is always a huge accomplishment! It was extra special when Jackson came for his cake smash because he was my very first newborn client when I moved to Charlotte NC. Since then I have had the pleasure of photographing over 60 newborns, most in my Monroe NC newborn and maternity studio. I have seen many of my clients return for milestones and cake smashes, and photographed their growing families during my limited edition spring, summer, and fall mini sessions.

I'm sure many of you know just how difficult it can be to take a decent photo of your sweet baby - especially once they are ON THE GO!

One year old portraits are my favorite part after a cake smash. They are fast paced and often filled with funny pictures of baby trying to run or crawl away. We do them at the end so they are nice and comfortable in my space.

You don't even need to bring an outfit either! We have a selection available for boys and girls in an assortment of colors and styles that photography beautifully. Jackson is wearing one of my favorite outfits in the client closet!
