Cluster feeding during your newborn photo session | Charlotte NC newborn photographer

Newborn photography takes a great deal of patience. Little miss Daphne kept me on my toes with multiple pools, and cluster feeding. But when you’re in my studio, we’re on baby’s time. We will wait for them for however long we need. After all, they’re brand new to all of this outside world stuff.

I was so excited when Daphne was born because I had so much fun with her parents at their maternity session over the summer. Right when she came into the studio I was taken back by how beautiful she was. At their maternity session at Anne Springs Greenway in Fort Mill SC, I learned that her parents were big Harry Potter fans. I purchased this maroon wrap and adorable bow from one of my favorite vendors, Sweet Baby Photo Props, and hand knit this Gryffindor scarf for her myself. She looked absolutely adorable dressed up as a little Potterhead.

Safety is always a top priority at Lia Christina Photography, and we always have your babies comfort in mind. Some babies will not do the same poses that others will, and we never, ever, force them to do something their little bodies just don’t want to do. Sweet Daphne came ready to eat at her session - it’s hard work being 14 days old! After three attempts getting into the bucket, she finally felt secure and safe inside - so much so that when I took her out she protested. It was absolutely adorable.

How adorable is little Daphne’s hair? She had so much personality already at 14 days old.
