playland: charlotte’s indoor playground and cafe

Hey Charlotte NC parents! I wanted to share an amazing location in Union County that is perfect for children and parents alike. Playland, located on the border on Indian Trail and Monroe NC, offers a unique and safe experience for your family.

Indoor playgrounds are popular on rainy days, but in the South they are also a great way to escape the heat. You will LOVE your time at Playland and so will your child.

Full cafe with flavored iced coffees, snacks, and more. Sip an iced salted caramel latte (my favorite!) while you relax in the massaging recliners, on a padded bench right by the awesome slide action, or at a cafe table. They even have private rooms perfect for an awesome low-key birthday party.

There is also a small toddler area perfect for friends 0-3 years old.

The best part… Playland is safe and clean! With only one exit, Playland staff monitors who enters and leaves the premises. You and your child are given matching stickers and they must be presented before leaving. The staff is excellent at cleaning the facilities as well. Every time we have been there they can be seen dusting, wiping, and organizing the space. Just like any play place there is the opportunity for older children to get a little wild, but the staff is usually right on top of keeping them in check.
