We don’t know when baby will arrive - How do we schedule newborn photos?

Congratulations! You may be just starting out your pregnancy journey or in the third trimester, and it is all so exciting. I know it can overwhelming (especially the first pregnancy) to figure out all of the new things that you need to purchase and to have.

It’s never too early to book your newborn photographer. In fact, the earlier the better as most of my clients book with me by 16 weeks gestation. We are able to be excited together and get to know one another before the newborn session.

It’s no surprise though that I get asked very often the same question, “How do I schedule if I don’t know when baby will arrive?” It’s a great question and I love to provide my answers to out your mind at ease. Your estimated due date will go on my calendar as a tentative date for your session. I consider myself on call two weeks prior to your due date and two weeks after. We ask that you keep us updated and let us know before you leave the hospital that baby was born.

We will schedule your session 5-14 days after your successful delivery. Newborn sessions take place at 10 am on Thursdays.
